The LinkedIn Ads integration lets a pipeline publish a complete advertising campaign on LinkedIn: campaign group → campaign → creative.
Connection not yet open to customer organizations. In the admin, the connect button is only offered to the platform's operator organization; other organizations see "Coming soon".
What you can do with it
- Launch a campaign from a pipeline (scheduled or driven by an agent), without going through the LinkedIn interface.
- Industrialize distribution — a marketing agent that turns an approved message into targeted campaigns.
The linkedin_ads_publish node
The linkedin_ads_publish node creates, in a single run, the campaign group, the campaign (objective, campaign type, cost type, budget, targeting) and the creative, in the right order on the LinkedIn side. The creative can sponsor an existing post or create a post and then sponsor it.
- Status of created objects: Draft by default (nothing is spent until a human activates the campaign in Campaign Manager); Active starts delivery — and spending — immediately.
- Partial failure: betool attempts to delete the objects already created and returns their identifiers in the output.
Connection (OAuth via the platform's application)
- Settings → Services → LinkedIn Ads, Accounts tab.
- OAuth connection via the platform's LinkedIn application: authorize access, then select your ad account.
- The token is refreshed automatically just before a call when it is about to expire; if the refresh token itself expires or is revoked, the account must be reconnected.
Security
- A post image supplied by URL is only downloaded over
https, without following redirects, with a capped size, and never from an internal or private address (anti-SSRF). - The ad account is verified as belonging to your organization before every call.
- Ad spend is billed directly by LinkedIn — no betool billing.
