Smart Life / Tuya (connected devices)

The Smart Life integration controls the connected devices of the Tuya ecosystem (Smart Life is one of its consumer apps: same cloud, same API).

What you can do with it

• device_command node — sends a command to a device (an absolute value: "on", "21 °C"), exactly-once, then reads back the device's status to confirm.
• Agent tools:
  • smartlife.list_devices — devices, online or not;
  • smartlife.get_device_functions — available commands, types and value ranges;
  • smartlife.get_device_status — current status;
  • smartlife.send_command — sending a command (absolute values only, no toggle).

Connection (BYO)

1. Create a project on the Tuya cloud and link your Smart Life account to it.
2. Settings → Services → Smart Life / Tuya, Accounts tab: enter the Access ID, the Access Secret, the data center region (regions are isolated from each other) and the app user's identifier.

No betool metering: it is your Tuya project.
