Meta (Messenger, Pages, Meta Ads)

Inbound and outbound Messenger, publishing on a Facebook Page, Meta Ads campaign reports and management from a pipeline.

Meta (Messenger, Pages, Meta Ads)

Beyond Meta Lead Ads and WhatsApp, the Meta integration covers Messenger, publishing on your Pages and your advertising campaigns.

Messenger

  • messenger_inbound receiver — triggers a pipeline on each message (or button click) received on your Page. Attachments are retrieved, and a message resent by Meta is processed only once.
  • messenger_outbound node — replies via the Messenger Send API.

24-hour window (Meta rule): a free-form reply is only possible within the 24 hours following the user's last message. Beyond that, Meta refuses the send, and the error is reported in the node's output.

Publishing on a Page

facebook_publish node — publishes or schedules a post on your Page: text, link, or photo. Scheduling uses Meta's own (from 10 minutes to 30 days in advance). Video, Reels and Instagram are not yet available.

Meta Ads

  • facebook_ads_report node — deterministic performance report (spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC…) at the level of the account, campaign, ad set or ad.
  • Agent tools: facebook.ads_report (read); facebook.ads_update_budget (a campaign's daily budget) and facebook.ads_update_campaign_status (activate / pause) for writing.

Connection

  • Pages and Messenger — "Sign in with Facebook" via the platform's Meta application, or your own Meta application.
  • Meta Ads — "Sign in with Facebook", or a long-lived token from your ad account. In both cases, the token is your organization's: no betool metering or margin.

Pages and ad accounts are connected independently.
