HeyGen (video)
The HeyGen integration brings video to your pipelines: avatar videos from a script, dubbing into another language, synthetic voices. It is your HeyGen account: HeyGen bills you directly, and betool adds no metering and no margin.

A video render takes time: a node waits for a configurable delay, then hands back control. To be notified when rendering ends, declare the heygen_inbound receiver on a model's Start: HeyGen calls it when a video is ready, the signature is verified and duplicates are discarded. Without a webhook, a scheduled pipeline can poll heygen_video_status.
Nodes billed by HeyGen run only once, even on replay: a video is never paid for twice.
Consent. Cloning a voice or creating the avatar of a real person engages your responsibility: you must have their consent. That is why these two operations exist only as nodes, placed by a designer — no tool lets an agent trigger them on its own.

Connection
- Settings → Services → HeyGen, Accounts tab.
- Two modes:
- "Sign in with HeyGen" — OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, without handling a key (available when the platform operator has enabled it);
- HeyGen API key from your account (BYO), with a default avatar and voice.
Use cases
- Personalized video — a qualified lead receives a short avatar video that mentions their first name and their need.
- Localization — a product video dubbed into several languages, one language per node.
Video goes through these nodes, not through the telephony channel, which remains audio-only.
